Lorraine talks briefly about her scleroderma diagnosis and how she manages the disease on a day-to-day basis. She explains that the dexterity in her hands has declined and that hot and cold weather can both affect her Raynaud’s phenomenon. Lorraine offers advice to people who have recently been diagnosed with either scleroderma or Raynaud’s, including not believing everything on the internet and trying to enjoy life as much as possible.

Her positive spirit gets her through. She sets life goals for herself that give her something to focus on and look forward to.
