According to the Scleroderma Foundation, while there is no proven cure for scleroderma, much can be done to prevent, minimize or alleviate its effects and symptoms. 

In this Boehringer Ingelheim video, meet Ilaria, now a 43-year-old scleroderma patient, originally diagnosed in her early 20s.

She explains that “at the beginning, I focused on what I couldn’t do… Now I say, okay, I can’t do those things anymore and I try to find something else, something new.”
