Many women with scleroderma may feel self-conscious about changes to their skin, particularly on their faces. They’ll often apply makeup to try and cover up any changes without realizing that they might need to adopt a new technique. In this video from Scleroderma SC, makeup artist David Nicholas demonstrates some makeup techniques for women with scleroderma.

The demonstration was held at the Scleroderma Conference in Boston in August 2010 and Nicholas explains ways for women to hide skin pigmentation using different shades of foundation, making their lips look fuller, and how to match up their skin color when choosing foundation.
